Theoretically, would it be possible to get all the brain information into either a USB or some special device, and transfer it into another brain, basically making you immortal?

Uploading is the term I’ve heard for this. I think scientists are mixed in their opinions on this. Some will say that a human brain is simply a meat machine doing calculations and as long as we build a computer that can mimic the human brain, we’ll have artificial general intelligence (AGI or the Singularity as it’s sometimes called). Others think it could happen but that the brain is far more complex than we currently give it credit for. I’m a fan of the Penrose-Hammeroff theory of quantum consciousness which involves microtubules (follow up below). Currently, the fastest supercomputers run at 200 petaflops (10x15th). The human brain is considered to operate at 1 exoflop (10x18th), orders of magnitude more powerful. The thing is, the more we learn about the brain, the more amazing it is. Hameroff suggests that microtubules would give the brain 10x27th computing power. The neocortex had shown to have massive computing power and the dendrites on each neuron, once thought to be connective wiring, are actually functioning as computing devices. If you add that all together, no computer is anywhere near powerful enough to host a single human mind.

Let's just say we have a computer that is powerful enough to do this. You always have one big problem: How do you make sure the copy is really you? You get your brain copied and there now exist an exact copy of you. Noone will know the difference. Your copy will live on. But your consciousness is still in your own body. You will just keep on existing. So you are immortal but you specifically will die.

How would multiple dumness make immortality two negative iqs make a super negatie
